Chuck

Chuck lived next door. In the neighborhood where we lived, the big kids played with the little kids. It was the rule, passed down from child to child. When Chuck's Dad, who was a bass fisherman, caught fish, he cleaned them and gave them to us. All he asked was that we fix Chuck a plate when we cooked fish. When his Dad was out of town, Chuck's 3 teenaged sisters ate junk food and Chuck ate with us.
